Well it was a balmy 7c here today and sunny, so I checked the fluids and fired up the Beaumont, tweaked the timing and carb a bit, and took er out for a little blast !!! Anyone else pulled their car out yet ?

Waiting for a good rain to wash the salt off the roads.

Just have to connect the battery and fill the float bowls with gas and the Chevelle is ready to go. I'll be waiting for a couple of good rainfalls to get rid of the salt as well. It's usually the middle of April before the car comes out but we can hope. ;)

Roads are still pretty ice covered and slushy here... then there's all the sand and salt that needs cleaning...probably at least mid april, unforetunately!

I've taken a bunch of test drives with the new setup so far. Granted, it's snowed once or twice, but it usually doesn't stick around for long.

+1 for sunny White Rock.

Hi Mike...we are just to the north of London, Kent is the opposite side (ish)
Around 80 miles...or more depending where in Kent you are talking about.

Does'nt seem many weeks since this "first drive of the season" thread was started....

Sadly for some of us...it will soon be the "last drive" of the season

Still...carried out a fair bit of work over the summer (lots more needed) removed the old smokey L6..in favor of a new ZZ4 :D:D
better get the tools and garage heater ready
