Just wanted to introduce myself.
Finally decided to register and be a member of Team Chevelle
Have a legit SS454 Chevelle, owned since 1994.
Was a charter member of ACES (#182) but let membership lapse.

I Know alot of you from the Chevelle list, been lurking there for years.
Probably going to have lots of questions now.
Decided to convert from the stock non cowl induction hood to a fully functional one.
I want to do it right and make it function like it came with it from the factory, would like input from anyone who has done this.
Also, Man has interest in these cars grown since I first got involved.
Looking forward to interacting with the group.

Hello and welcome Bob. You didn't state the year of your car. As far as cowl induction, you could try your question in the Restoration section or if you are mechanically minded, look at the Assembly Manual. It has detailed pics and parts.

Hey Copper SS, what year????? 70 or later, any pictures is cool man.

My Chevelle is a 1971.
By the way the Classic Copper color was only available on Chevelles in 71.
I'll try to post pics when I figure out how it's done.
