the number on the engine is 3889280. can anyone tell me what this engine is/ THANKS FOR ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE ME

BillsCamino Feb 20th, 04, 9:23 PM Is it possible you're reading some of the "9s" as an "8"... A casting 3999290 is a 396/402 made in '68 thru '72. Check the casting date on the block (pass side) above the bellhousing area and below the distributor. | ||
