I'm trying to check some numbers form my TH400 from my '69 SS. I'm reasonably certain this is NOT the original tranny from my car. Here are the numbers I've found on the tranny case:

1. 8623462 bellhousing, lower right side

2. 8624486 tailshaft

3. H0T07053 This number is stamped on a pad on the driver's side of the tranny just above the pan.

Again, I'm not concerned about matching #'s, since my engine is a CE block, I'm just curious as to what the tranny came out of.
