hey everyone,
just wanted to share some new progress pictures. i have been working on the frame with sanding and painting and such, but now i am moving on to the new front suspension. the budget is small on this build but i am happy with the way it is turning out so far. any comments are welcomed (good or bad)

i modified the stock drum spindle a little to swap to discs in the front and was wondering if i need to reuse this part in my swap or not

also, can anyone provide some pics of the correct orientation of the caliper brackets and dust shields installed on the spindles? i am new to all of this and have taught myself along the way one step at a time.
thanks in advance.

ive' looked through the books and can't find any good pictures (diagrams) or literature on the process of installing the backing plates, caliper brackets, rotors, calipers... in which order do i install them... any advice is appreciated.
thanks again

Caliper bracket goes on with backing plate on top, you bolt the caliper bracket and backing plate down all together, the big bolt you show should hold the top of the backing plate and one end of the caliper bracket, so you either need to grind the top of the existing bolt one down to clear the rotor or go buy new bolts. Might want to clean up your spindle where the bearings go and coat with oil so they don't keep oxidizing...
