Hello yet again fellow chevelle enthusiasts...
This question is geared up for all of you RPO code guru's. I am having a repro window sticker made up for my 1970 El Camino and have found all of the pricing for everything with the exception of two. The first one is CD2 - Washer Jar Monitor. (low level alert for washer fluid- One year only option) The second one is U46 - Monitor, Exterior Lamp (also known as Vigilite system). Any help with these two rare RPO code pricings so I can put them onto my repro window sticker wouild greatly be appreciated. Sadly, they are on my buildsheet, but there is no pricing on the buildsheet to help me out with the repro window sticker. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Wow, didn't realize that many were made with those options. Thanks for the pricing on the one. Any way to find out how many el caminos were made with that option code?

Talk about reviving an old thread! The U46 Lamp Monitoring option was not available on the El Camino body style in any of the 4 years it was offered (1967-1970) but the CD2 Washer Fluid Level monitor was.

Dale,
With all due respect, the way I interpret your reply, you are saying that the CD2 Level Monitor was offered in 1967 through 1970. I only know of it being available in 1970.
I believe that RPO CD2 was available only as part of the ZJ9 Auxiliary Lighting Package ($23.15) from the factory which may explain the high number of vehicles produced with it. It was merely part of a popular bundled lighting package and not ordered individually. It is not listed as available as a dealer installed accessory in the Dealer's Price Schedule.
I don't know how other assembly plants handled it, but my Baltimore Broadcast Sheet lists all of the ZJ9 RPO components individually including the CD2 Washer Jar Monitor with no mention/listing of the ZJ9 Aux. Lighting Package in box 107.

Sorry for the confusion. The U46 lamp monitoring was available from 67 thru 70 on anything but the El Camino; the CD2 is a 70-only item and was available on the El Camino and was both part of the ZJ9 auxiliary lighting group but was also available as a separate dealer install option.
Legend...
(1) Available from factory as option only
(2) Available as separate dealer installation
I looked at some other plants and found Atlanta is like your Baltimore sheet while Arlington, KC, and Van Nuys lists all the separate items plus the ZJ9 option code.
