I have my rear end, control arms and springs ready for install. Can anyone give me the easiest procedure for installation? i.e. control arms to frame first, to rear end first.

Tips and tricks welcome.

This is a body off chassis (body above chassis on supports) on jack stands.

Thanks

The uppers are easier if you start at the frame, Then to the rear. The lowers really aren't an different either way..

I don't know if it's the easiest but the way I did it wasn't too hard and I had one friend help putting it in. I put all 4 control arms and sway bar on the rear end with the tires installed. Then rolled the rear forward until I could position the upper control arms into the brackets. Then took a punch to align the bolt holes and push the bolts in and start the nuts. I then used my floor jack to start lifting the rear and placed the back springs as I lifted. This was the most difficult part as we had to hold the back of the frame down as we lifted the rear. Guided the lower arms into the brackets and did the same as the uppers. It may be a little tougher if your body is fairly close to the frame. You might think about setting the body on the frame to hold it down. If I had some weight on the frame, it would have been a one man job. 30 minutes and we had the rear hanging in the air. Good luck:thumbsup::beers:.
