: 396 decode question

I have a 396 block with 4 bolt mains as follows:
block casting # 3955272
pad # T0604KF
date code K 15 9 the K looked like an R or B too
the 15 could be a 13 or 16 or 18
# above oil filter is stamped 19K454901

The websights I looked at says this is a Chevelle 375 horse 396, turbo 400, special high peformance engine block. Am I reading this correctly and can you tell what car it came from by the #'s stamped above the oil filter?
The block is o-ringed and needs one sleeve and a good cleaning. What's something like this worth?

Cast 3955272~1969 pass, Chevelle, Camaro, Chevy2 396 block.

Engine code T0604KF- T= Tonawanda engine plant
-------------------06 Assembly month
-------------------04 Assembly Day
-------------------KF=375 HP,TH-400, HI Perf.!!!

Date code, K 15 9~ K=Nov 15= day 9=year, 1969

don't know about the numbers above oil fiter, more help will come graemlins/thumbsup.gif

almost forgot, The ~KF~ means it came out of a '69 Chevelle SS.

Partial VIN of original car the engine came in.

1 - Chevrolet
9 - 1969
K - Kansas assembly
454901 - sequential portion of VIN
