As anyone heard of any rpogress being made getting archive info on Chevy's? I emailed Pontiac, and they said nothing at this time. I once thought I read a thread about some women at Chevy/GM that could get some of the old info, build sheets/window stickers, etc, but don't know how or who to contact. Anybody have any luck?????

There is a false impression out there that this information exists for US cars and that is not true. The thread you saw referred to PHS project in TRYING to recover any data. If and when anything is found, the info will not come from GM. They are not interested in providing this information.
GM archives does have invoice data for car and truck from 1975 to present day but they discarded all data prior to that.
Here is the email address for GM archives, if you do contact them they need a VIN or that cannot search. There may be a fee for this service, may involve hours of searching microfilm. If the car was built or sold in Canada, Vintage Vehicle Services of Canada can help and that info is found on the front page here.

Ctrain22,
the last I heard, the gentleman(Jim M.) who is currently in charge of the PHS is working on doing the same type of docs for chevys. I found this on the web-site yenko.net. Last I heard the records were in bad shape and in shambles. He is still working on them and hopes to have them straightened out soon. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
