My 65 had no trim of any kind around the inside of the rear window when I got it. I am about install the headliner and sail panels and need to know just how the finished interior window trim should look. I see where the sail panels and head liner actually fits, but what covers the pinch weld edges acrosss the inside bottom of the window? I have the windlace snap on trim for the pinchweld at the front, but doesn't something cover the one next to the sealant? Or is there a wide piece needed to cover both?

A pic or 2 showing the interior trim finished would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, OLDED

Its a wider plastic trim, like that used on Hardtops, etc...

I think I have seen it in some catalogs...

OPGI has a kit for $90, 6 pieces for 64-67 El Caminos...

I have seen that kit in the catalogs, but wasn't sure if it was a trim kit or the actual flange kit that the headliner glues to, the description was a bit vague.

Thanks, I'll order a kit to do it right.

That kit will do ya. Just a quick note, check the lengths of the pieces. I had to trim them as they were too wide (long?) on the bottom pieces, if I remember correctly. Other than that they fit great.

Thanks guys - only another $100. or so. I shouldn't complain, but the wife is getting a new kitchen which makes my vices about even.
