Where can I find the trim tag on a 72 Chevelle?

Hi Annette,

The trim tag is on the cowl, just forward of the windshield, on the driver's side of the car. It is a metal tag about 3" x 4", and it is riveted to the cowl. It will have a bunch of letter and number codes stamped into it in raised figures. It will tell you some pertinent information about the car. You can post your findings in the "Tag Team" section here and get it decoded.
