Going off the above:
753 ~ unknown

Line 1:
136379Z342946 ~ (A) Vehicle Identification Number
13 ~ Vehicle series - Chevelle
6 ~ Even number - V8 engine (odd number - L6)
37 ~ Body style - 2-dr sport coupe
9 ~ year of mfg - 1969
Z ~ Assembly plant - Fremont, CA
342946 ~ Chevelle vehicle build sequence numbers start at 300001 for 1969 only. Yours is the 42,946th Chevelle off the Fremont line.

Line 2:
10324DD ~ Engine number ('1' is probably a 'T')
T ~ Tonawanda assembly plant
0324 ~ month/day - March 24
DD ~ Suffix code for 307-2, 200hp w/TH-350 trans

CA03173 ~ Rear axle number
CA ~ 3.08 (non-posi) ratio
0317 ~ month/day - march 17
3 ~ Probably the letter 'B' for Buffalo

Line 3:
Y9C19N 221 ~ Transmission number
Y ~ Toledo assembly plant, TH-350
9 ~ Model year
C19 ~ month/day - March 19
N ~ Engine or vehicle designation
221 are option codes and their exact position in relation to the rear axle number is critical. For example:
CA03173
2 21
are different options than
CA03173
221
and are differnt than
CA03173
22 1
Having said that, unfortunately my GM P&A book (source for decoding a POP) doesn't show the number '2' for any options from 69 to 71, only the numbers '1' and '3'.

The 'B' and 'Y' on the right side are:
'B' is on the first line and is the Carburetor source - Bay City in this case.
'Y' should be the vehicle build month but there is no 'Y' as such. Could it be the number '4'? That would be April and coincide with the major parts being built in March.

The Chevy symbol is simply to denote it's a Chevrolet.

Any chance of taking a good picture or scan of it and sending it to me? I have some examples of 69 POPs at http://www.chevellestuff.com/69velle/69_pop.htm and I'd like to add a Fremont POP.

Dale is great with this stuff. You might find this page (http://www.geocities.com/don111ca/page994.html) on my website helpful as well. Good luck.
