I am tuning in the engine right now. Right now I setup 18 initial + 18 mech + vac advance all in by 2950 RPM. I have a Holley 750DP. Stock other wise except I put in the orange cam in the front and a 32 squirter. If I tap the gas I get instant response but if I go WOT quick I get maybe a quarter-half of a second bog and then goes to the moon. Is this normal or should check the secondary? I have the pink cam with the stock 28 squirter in the rear. Engine size 350.

Its difficult to get the bog out of a double pumper with a heavy car and a tight converter. You can try a larger squirter in the rear to see if you can cover up the bog. The carb may be a bit big for your application. What converter are you running?

is it an automatic trans? 750 DP with SB with auto with highway gear rearend is bog city.
