I just completed a swap from an ad on Craigslist and I'm stoked! I swapped the stock but running well 400 small block that was in my elCamino for a 2 bolt 454 std bore 361959 block,crank, thumb rods, flat top stock pistons,short block is all assembled. Square port heads that are fresh 3964291, Edelbrock performer, 750 double pumper, water pump, fuel pump, alt, distributor, valve covers, car oil pan, this engine needs a cam and lifters, couple lobes went flat, flex plate, and gaskets to be a runner. I'm gonna fix it up and save it for a spare. :hurray:

You never know, my last swap netted me a set of Edelbrock bb heads that are like new! you have to watch closely and be quick to jump on stuff.

But have you noticed that lately there have been more parts and cars from N.H. and Mass. tossed in the Maine page?
Almost as bad as Uncle Henry's magazine.....most of the good stuff is a 3 hour drive away. Time to whip out the Gazetteer and figure out where the town of 'Allen Plantation' is. You might get lucky and find that there is a good fishing spot near the place to make the trip worthwhile. Or discover that to get a good $100 part for 70 bucks it'll cost $50 in gas to get it.
Although I did just mail some '65 wiper arms to a guy way up north from Craigslist. Paid me plenty for postage and all.

I watch CL every day. Someone will have a pair of '51 Truck F2 front fenders that I'm looking for. There's plenty of them out in Arizona or Utah, and there should be a set nearby. Like a crocodile waiting at the watering hole for a wildebeast, I'm going to move fast and go in for the kill when I see a pair listed. :)
