: Por -15 on tail light lens...

Just a thought, but has anyone tried coating their tail light and front bumper parking light lens's with clear Por-15? I am wondering if doing so would eliminate that faded appearance that plastic lens can sometimes get - in other words, would Por-15 offer more of a 'wet' look on these lens's? I do not mind using 'armor all' on them but dust and road dirt attract to the treated surface faster. Thanks for your feedback http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I thought the clear por-15 was UV sensitive?
If so this obviously will not work.
Try testors clear model paint. works well on plastic.

Try buffing them out with compound and a buffer this works great!
Also try meguiars #10 plastic polish. tis works well too.

Thanks guys, I used the polishing compound and you were right, it looks like new again. I think I will seal it with a good quality clear coat paint. Thanks again for the feedback http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
