Hi there, I've been reading these tech articles for over a year now and figure I might as well join. Because of this website, I was able to successfully redo my 1970 Elky's wiring and am now working on my rear end.
I'm a full-time cop, dad, and all around ball-buster, but a fairly novice mechanic, so I thank everyone on this website who has helped me in the past...and will be a tremendous amount of help in the present and future. Glad to see there are other non-expert mechanics that just like to work on their cars.
Thanks for having me.

Welcome aboard shipmate. You already know theres lots of good info here. As you noted there are several "non-experts" (I put myself at thew top of that list) here however, it seems everyone has a piece of the puzzle and is willing to share.

Post some pixs of the El Camino when ya get time.
