Thinking about purchasing a set of alum, heads. Ovals any ideas ive looked at Gm, edelbrocks and the pro-comps any ideas, its a street 427 with tri power set up.

What is your goal? What carburetion do you plan to use? Cam? Compression?

my goal is the 500 hp range 10 1/2 to high 10s compression. want to keep it streetable as possible. my carbs are stock 67 vette tri power 4oo hp.havnt decided on cam choice yet there is so many. any ideas are welcomed.

Not knowing which piston dome you have but assuming it is a low compression 10 to 1 type I would look at the race rite oval with the 110 cc chamber. If it were me I would look at the comp cams 294S ground on a 108 LSA. Also assuming you have headers on that thing and a good flowing (not flowmaster) exhaust system. This would put you near your power range and that cam would be lumpy as heck. If an automatic trans you would need around 3000 stall converter. If its a stick no issue.

edelbrock vic jrs advertise 500hp out of the box with 64cc. thats what i have and i love em
