I would say the value would raise some. jfkheat Mar 6th, 09, 6:06 PM A true 396/402 L-78 engine would be worth 2-3X what a lower hp engine is worth if it has all the correct parts. Does it have square port heads and a factory aluminum intake? Those alone would make a lot of difference in the value.
