I have a pretty good set of original bumpers no pitting the front one had a goose egg in it but got it out and looks good ready for the rest of prep and plating.WOW is that expensive minimum $800 bucks.Recently looking through my NPD I can get repops for $175 a piece.Dos anyone know is the quality still there and how they fit.I know fitting will be neccesary, but so will the originals.I'm just more curious on how there plating looks. Thanks for any info.

I have repro bumpers on my 70. They fit ok, no major clearance issues and they seem to be holding up ok as far as the plating is concerned but they aren't as nice as the originals I had Tri City redo for my 69. Who quoted you $800?? Tri City should be able to do them for like $300 each.

Andy, If you PM me with your phone # I have (2) options for you-I see your in Michigan, Where?. I had both original bumpers (no damage) and a couple trinkets done by some guy in Marine city. He didnt do them but sent them to somewhere in Georgia. Since then I have dicovered a place right here in Waterford who has tanks big enough for bumpers. I guy who works for me knows them and sent me there, They did a bunch of parts for a mini bike I restored for my son and the work was good and reasonable. I dont remember either companys name but have there cards at my office. Norman
