I bought this engine and I think it's a 327

3917298 heads
3925656 transmission
What would I have to do to get 300 horsepower from this engine and I think the transmisssion is a saginaw and are they any good? Thanks a lot

The block is a 68 only item, used for 302, 327, and 350 applications. Heads are again a 68 only item, for 250 hp 327 in Passenger and Chevelle, and 210 hp 327 in Camaro. Trans case number is a wide ratio Saginaw 4 speed for low performance applications (consistent with a 210 or 250 hp 327). Hope that helps!
