I am working on a 70SS factory air car that does not have all the wiring in place, and have found the factory air wiring diagram lacking some detail. I have found 2 relays under the dash that connect in a harness between the A/C controls-compressor/low blower switch (16ga tan) and the temperature switch (16ga blue). The coils of both the relays have a 16ga pink wire jumpered between them with a connector that I don't know what it is to be connected to. The contact of one relay is connected with the 16 ga tan wire from the compressor/low blower switch and the 16 ga blue wire that first jumpers to the contact of the other relay before continuing to the temperature switch. The other side of the contact of the 2nd relay has a 16ga orange wire that connects to the terminal of the blower high speed relay (located in the engine compartment on the top of the evaporator box) where the 10ga orange power wire is connected. I have wrung these wires out and I have taken the relays apart to determine coil and contact connections. Does anyone with a 70 factory air car have these additional relays in place and tell what is energizing the coils? Is there additional A/C wiring information available? The rest of the basic A/C wiring is in place (blower, resistor, relay, etc). There is no TCS or throttle solenoid installed and no wiring in place for them. The car is not original or untouched and has been "played" with over the years (I don't have any history). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
