I have a 1971 Chevelle that I need to find a horn contact piece for. The piece in question is the small plastic piece that slides into a square hole right beneath the ignition tumbler. It has a couple of pieces of metal sticking out of the end of it at weird angles. Mine finally came apart after 38 years & I am hoping that someone is currently making this part. If anyone knows where I can get this part, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

That is not the horn contact.
Pretty sure you are talking about the 'key in ignition' that buzzes when the door is opened with the key in the ignition (off position).
The horn contact will be the wire that snaps into the little plastic cylinder that pokes thru the steering wheel.

That makes sense. And since I disconnected that annoying buzzer years ago, I guess I won't bother looking for the part. Thanks.
