im considering putting 20x10s on the back of my 69 chevelle...I was wondering if a 305/35/20 would be a stretch on these wheels? thanks guys

If you get a 6" backspace on the wheels those tires should fit just fine!

ive got a set of 305's going on a 10. thats unless i get the 3 piece 11's or 12's. youll have a little bulge, but not anywhere near enough to worry about. before i knew any better, i was running 295's on an 8.

awesome thanks guys...Ill post some pics as soon as I get them...i finally decided on coy c-5s...definately not an original look, but 1. affordable 2. they fit well...its tried and true look but I'm going to get them in flat black to try to set it apart a bit...haven't seen anyone with the flat black c-5s yet.

I dont think a C5 will not fit with that big of a tire. the most backspace they have is 5.5 and will work fine with a 275 maybe a 295. I have 20x10 C5's with 275 35 's on the back of my 70 they look great , but there is no way i could run a 305 without more back space on the wheels

:clonk:yup, you are absolutely right:clonk:. the more threads i read more apparent it became that the obvious consensus is that a 305 will need about 6/6.25 of backspacing.
