My cast iron intake has a casting number of 3866948. That is the only number ending with 48
1966-67 325,360hp L-34/L-35 396ci and 390hp 427.

The casting# rock gave was correct they only made one cast iron holley intake. The last # of date should be 5, 6 or 7. Thats the F-4-8 number U gave was date. The # on the manifold U are looking for is 3955287 was used in 1970 and 71 on all lower HP 402's and 454's. Carb # is 7040204 if auto and 7040205 if a stick. They were Quadrajet carbs. I am supposed to look at a stock 70 454 that would have corredt intake and possible right carb. Email me and will keep U posted on the stuff if interested.

These are question and answer forums, if you want to buy or sell something, thats what the classified section is for!

sorry to upset you, i did not start topic. i was merely responding to what was already said, as well as taking advantage of topic title.

You didn't upset me! was just informing you that the general feeling of Team Chevelle is that they don't want for sale or wanted ads in the forums!
Thats why they offer the classified ad section. You will get a better responce there than from someone who comes to the forums seeking information like casting or code numbers in Tag Team.
