Can someone tell me where the black and black/gray wires coming off the factory amp gauge run to? It looks like they run behind the fuse box. But after that I don't know. Should they have voltage to them if you ground them? The Gauge has never worked since I have owned the car and I'm trying to get it to work. It is on a '69.

Thanks undee, the voltage regulater by the horn relay, has been eliminated on my car. Should I be able to locate the amp wires some were around the horn relay?

It looks like there is a big splice in the wire near the horn relay. The ammeter wire should already be in this splice.

Is it a factory original gauge car? If so the wires should be there. Follow the 10g red wire from horn relay buss bar This wire goes to main splice. The main splice is very close to the horn relay.
