I would of course check the light bulbs but I would check to see if you have fire to your brake switch on the brake pedal. If no fire you need to trace wire and find problem. If fire to the switch make sure the switch is adjusted (push it in) and see if you have fire from the switch when you press the brake pedal. If not, you probably need a new brake switch. Hope this helps.

Double check the operation of the signals.
the indicators are tied to the front signals--------------do these work??

if you have brake lights-----taillights ---- front signals

But no rear signals------most likely a bad turn switch

Turn switches are strange animals----they are getting power from the brake light switch and the ignition.

The brake lights are powered directly from the battery (thru the brake switch) and the signals are powered by an ignition source.

When you move the arm to turn on the left turn signal----battery power is turned OFF
for the left BRAKE circuit and the ignition powered circuit is turned on for the left turns.

May not be your problem, but I would check the grounds from the actual lamps, and maie sure the fuses that serve the lights are clean and make good contact with the fuse holders.

My 66 sat all last summer, and the fuse contacts got rustier, and I had no rear lights when I got the engine back in.

Cleaning the fuse holders did the trick.
