I'm in the process of restoring my 72' and I need someones opinion on something. I have the cowl induction hood, but I am not using the cowl induction system. Should I use the flapper door or just get my body man to close the space up?

Here are a few pics of my restoration right now:

Its not stock, the owner before me replaced the original hood with this one.

I would not have him seal it. Use as is and you may want to add the function later on.

If you are shooting for a buildsheet correct auto of course replace it with whats original.... I'd go the other way and get the induction system working... best thing I ever did on my 72
