im looking a 138 car with with the vin # matching on all body parts ,frame etc but the trim tag is missing can you get repops or am i out of luck ?:(

Jeff, having a 138 VIN on your car without a trim tag really isn't a problem.
If you feel you need to have a trim tag, there have been discussions on here before about them and evidently there are some people making trim tags.

Do a Search on here for past discussions to see where you can find them.

They are available in the aftermarket from http://trimtags.com/ and run $235 plus $12 for two rivets. Depending on the assembly plant, you may have a really tough time with some of the data you need and some information, such as body number, would only be a guess.
