You wouldn't have a clear picture of the tag by chance...and...a picture of the car if it has the original paint scheme? Not too often you see a two-tone painted 71. I'd like to add the data to my ChevelleStuff web site - see sig block for more 64-72 decoding info. Think this is paint code 53 (Place Gold) that is displayed in this link on the 454 SS shown there. I always thought the Placer Gold color was as you show in the pictures. But those chip examples that are on this site and the one referenced by elky show a different, more brown color than the sort of burnished brassier color. Have these chip colors darkened with age?
