I have a couple of questions.

Do all of the vendors sell the same console kit, or are there a couple of manufactureres of these things?

Also----are these painted the interior colors???
(my guess would be yes----but how much of it??)

Anybody got a pic of a blue one maybe??? and what color blue would it be painted??

I am sure they are made by the same manufacture. they are painted the interior color and all is painted but the chrome and inside of the compartment which has a felt type material in it.

Bryan You might want to search for an original and pay the premium for it. Like so much repop stuff the quality is very inconsistent.

opgi makes them from what i'm told the best price for a complete kit is ausley's it comes with every thing for 499 or 599 complete w/ clock. I have both the 4 speed and the auto there good fit..

ordered the clock from NPD cause it was a few bucks less and was supposedly in stock.

Guess what----it was not-----oh well, not in a hurry anyway

Has anyone tried to fit an original metal top onto a new plastic base?

I believe there have been some that have posted saying they have tried adapting that original parts dont work well with these new consoles.
