thanks, the engine seem to be i good condition. it runs well and doesn't smoke. i know the 307 is what some people consider a week engine, but by the late 70's - 80's standards it made good hp. i am wondering if the heads would be good after reworking to put on a recon short block??

Thanks, again for the help
