Dave,that color did start in '72. I have a '72 full size brochure but I don't think it will scan good.If a photo will work let me know,I think there is some pictures of my dads '72 Caprice at my moms.That was a nice color for a vinyl top.

I couldn't find a velle but I did find a Monte. Flame red with Covert tan vinyl.
