On a cold start My truck won't pull itself. Put it into gear and it stalls, starts right back up but won't pull itself till it gets warm then runs and pulls itself fine. I replaced the distributor and plugs and wires and timing chain, replace all the vacuum hoses and cked the intake and carb base for leaks...no leaks found and rebuilt the 2brl Holley carb but still think I have a carb problems..what do you guys suggest or think the problem might be.

At this pount I would begin looking at the tranny... for starters, check the fluid level. When was the last time the tranny was serviced? I suspect that, after sitting overnight, your tranny needs the pump running for awhile, and a little circulation to get it ready to roll ...

Do you have the hot air ducting going to the air cleaner, I bet you have carb icing.
