The molding around my rear window is loose. It's on an el camino but I think the question would be the same on most cars. The molding needs new clips which I have but there is a leak somewhere that I need to find first before I replace the clips. My question is If I remove the molding from around the window will the window stay in place while I drive the car or will it fall out?

I would think the window will stay in place.
It is "glued" on.
The moulding is just to hide and for looks.

Makes sense. I just did not want to lose molding driving to work one day.
