to run my mini starter with a mallory magnetic breakerless dist is the yellow wire off the oem starter needed and do i just need the purple wire on the spaded terminal on the mini starter?

just the purple wire to kick it over. when we hooked the one in the chevelle, we just used the ign wire out of the fuse block (changed over to a 12 ga. when I did the hei install) hooked it to the resistor then over to the dist and coil. jim

yep with the old oem starter it took a bit to crank over the 454 this thing fires it off right now awsome. thanks
