:confused::confused::confused:
Hi all,
Im in the process of coming up with a good plan to strip and underseal/paint/rustproof the underside of my 72 Chevelle, who has done such a process and come out with an awesome result? I undersealed my Australian 1971 ZD Fairlane 500 but was unhappy with result as underseal product I used was too soft and I found it melted around hot areas such as exhaust. I am after something that is hard wearing and provides outstanding rust protection, spray on or brush on???any input from all you Chevelle owners/restorers is strongly sugested as I want to do it once and do it so I dont have to worry about it again, keep these Chevelles goin strong men an lassies!! :):)
Regards

Many guys have used bed liner with great luck, others have used POR15 and like that better. Choice is up to you.

I just used something called "Al's liner" a multi part product that can be applied in your garage and is very durable, and dries to hard non rubbery finish.... and not to expensive.

here in ireland it rains a bit :D sorry it rains a lot,so a good underseal is a must. i used a product called SCHULTZ. I sprayed it on with my compressor, took a few hours .it dries solid as a rock, womt melt too easy.
