my dash lights seem to be working fine except that the ventilation control area isn't lit up. It is supposed to be lit up isn't it?
If so, do I most likely have a burned out bulb? Is it hard to access?

On My SS it's right above the Cigarette lighter. It pops out and should have enough wire to pull it down where you can see it. I don't have AC though.
