Can anyone suggest a good but not top of the line 4 wheel disc kit to put on a 72' chevelle ss. Thats not to expense but still has good performence.

I am leaning to Ground up and am going to get a front kit and lines from them in the next week or so.

How about a bit more info. Are you running stock wheels? If not, what size? Do you already have disk on the front or drum?

If you plan on keeping the 15" wheels it will be tough to fit anything that will provide a huge improvement. The rear drums work OK if they are in good shape with good shoes. On the front good rotors and good performance pads will help. There are setups that will fit under the 15" s but may not be worth the cash

Plan on going to at least 17"s. 18"s would be better. Most anything will fit under 18"s. I had a interference problem with the C6's I run in the front under my 17" Torque Thrust II's. I had to make a 1/2 inch aluminum spacer to totally clear the calipers. Knowing what I do now I wish I would have gotten 18"s to start with. Having said that, with most 17"s and pretty much all 18"s you can get some serious brakes that will really make a great difference in how well and consistantly your car stops.
