Here's the deal...this week's stumper is that the headlights/tailights work perfectly. The turn signals also work great but, they don't work together. When the headlights are on the signals blink so weak that you can hardly see them. I am thinking that it isn't a switch due to the fact that they both work well independently. The flasher unit was replaced less than a year ago. I suspect a grounding problem? Any ideas on where to start?

Possibly a bad ground. I have the same thing with my car but i havent found it yet.
my directionals work fine w/lights off but when lights are on the blink faint and if i turn the left one on the right side flashes in the dash. Everything on the outside works fine.

Check all the grounds at the lamps front and rear. Each headlamp pigtail has a ground as does each of the front park/turn signal lamps. The rear lamps usually all tie together. Check the grounds to the side marker lights too.

The body shop just tweaked the hood and adjusted the hood pins....I'm betting I'll find a weak ground near the headlights. Thanks for the reminder.
