Hey all,

All lights were working except the headlights. I bought a new switch, dropped the column and pulled the dash out to get to it.
Wiggled the old switch and lights came on. Ok....put the new one in and when I plugged the harness up, I got a spark. Now no headlights, parking lights, or tail lights. Yikes.
Put the old switch back and same thing.....no lights.
I did forget to unhook the neg on the battery before starting :o
Fuses are all good.
Where do I look now? I just walked off. Dash is still laying out.
Thanks for any replies. Electrical just tears my nerves up.

Headlights are not fused. Do you have any power at all in the dash area? If not, check the fusible links. (see pic) Fusible links protect the wiring before the fusebox and unfused circuits.

Thanks Greg.
Figured it out tonight. The wires were loose at the dimmer switch.
The fuse needed spun in the block and the tail lights came on. Gonna replace the dimmer and plug, and the fuse block next.
Will it ever end? seems like I've replaced everything.
Just circumstance this happened while putting the light switch in.
