I was wonering if any one could tell me if a 2002 camaro rear end would fit on a 69 chevelle.

Not even worth the time it would take. The bracketry is completely different. Not to mention, the length is also going to differ.

It's also much weaker than even the 8.2 10 bolt. If you are after the disc brakes then just swap them onto the rear end that you have now. They almost bolt on without modifications.

I talk to this guy on craigslist he said he has made to mods to it.

Doesn't matter. It's still a weak rear end and it won't fit your car. There is no way to connect the upper controll arms.

It's only a 7.5/7.625 so it's less durable than the 8.2 that people are replacing.
Suggest you pass on it.

That rearend is only worth its weight in scrap. I have given few away in the past becuase they aren't worth anything. I have a 94 Z28 with a cam, headers, and underdrive pulleys and have broke 2 of those rearends. One was with a set of ET Streets at the dragstrip and the other was with some street tires on the street. I have seen more than a few get destroyed by a stock LS1. Pretty bad that GM went too cheap and put the same rearend in 4cylinder S10s as they did a 315 horsepower Camaro.
