I am just starting to look at a 70 el camino that is for sale in my area. The guy selling the camino does restoration work and has a few chevelles for sale. In talking to him on the phone he does belong to the local car group so he will have a good knowledge of the value of the car. My question is where do I start in checking out the car. I am not looking for a retirement piece just a nice ride that I can drive whenever I want and as much as I want. Thank for any help that I can get.
