is there a cigar lighter ground on the 71 ss ?by the looks of this thing it does not look like it has ever been changed and there is no ground ring like iv seen on the 70s should there be? i remember it did not work when i got it.maybe why.

No ground ring, for 71 & 72 the power and ground are in the molded plastic connector.
