i have a 75 laguna s3 that stumbles at midrange speed under hard accel. car has a 350 mild cam unknown size hei accel supercoil edelbrock 650 and performer intake . cars is an automatic problem is intermintant any ideas thanks for any help

My car has a similar problem and we found out that the previous owner who installed the HEI left in the springs that it came with. THe springs from the factory with these things are set for minimal mechanical advance and you have to change out the springs to increase the advance. I would check the amount of mech advance your getting. I was only getting like 6 degrees which is way too low

thanks for the advice i probably need to go through the dist anyway. Im hoping to give this car to my son who is only 10 now so i have time to work on it. hope i can i gain as well as add to this forum.
