Agreed. Beautiful car. Was on ebay 6-9 months ago and didn't sell. Although it was in Indiana. I think the asking price was much more.
I see they Cheaped out on the dash and used a silver paint pen. Missed the detail on the steering wheel. Still a nice car. Is that the one from a while back that was listed for $110k out of the NE and had Oregon plates on it? Can't remember for sure. Also has a 69 Dash emblem above the glove box. $50 fixes that. Caution Fan sticker is not right. The metering valve looks to be the 70 model valve. All easily fixed. At least the alternator is mounted correctly. :D
Edit: I'll leave the wheel well trim up to Bill ;)
Shiny paint on fenderwells and heater core cover incorrect.
My guess is with the lots of stuff to correct $65k would be a good number for it. I wonder how many options were "added" A lot of the L78s I see are bare bones type race oriented rigs.

Does anyone know if the SS only steering wheel emblem is a later thing. I have an all original (original paint 1 owner 13867 triple black conv) car with a SS396 emblem on the wheel and the SSover the 396 foil markers. The major things missing are the Smog system (expensive) 63 dog dishes, lose the F41, wiper motor, early crank pulley should be stamped for 68, would love to see the PS pulley, cad on the hinges and latch, washer cap. But the big problem is that it has a 163 intake thats a Flag waver. It should have a 069 which does not have the heater port on the top and the boss on the DS is untaped as the temp sender is now in the head. Is this a Built car No picts of the Block stamping ?????????

yep according to previously mentioned posts the SS without the 396 on the steering wheel is a later in the year deal like the 396 side markers.

I don't know the person that owns this car, but I have seen it in person before at some local shows. I'm not up on my 68's as far as correctness goes, but the cars shows well and looks to be a nicely done restoration.
