Im replacing my stock 396 manifold with a Edelbrock. There is a place in the new manifold for a water temp. sender. Would I get a more truer reading if I moved the sender from the left head and put in the intake. I've always wondered about GM reading water temp. from only one head. Would like some in-put on this subject. Thanks

My opinion would be to keep it in the head where the temp is closer to the generated heat from the cylinders. Like I said, though, that's my opinion, FWIW.
