Hi all. I tried to go to the track yesterday and while letting the car warm up prior to loading it the car, cut off. After troubleshooting I found the car would lose fire. I dug into it this morning and I think it is the ignition switch. If I reconnect the MSD and StarterSaver to another 12 volt power source (Coil side of ignition), the car fires right up and everything is fine. I check my signal fwom the ignition switch and it will keep 14 volts constant until I try to reconnect the ignition to the MSD stuff and it drops the voltage. After I disconnect the ignition switch wire from the components, it will show voltagew again. I probed all around and found nothing. I installed a Painless in the car and did not have the connector that plugs into the ignition switch and am wondering if I overheated the switch when I soldered it all together?? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated but I am thinking a new switch and trying to locate on the of the harness plugs may be in order. And is there any other vehcile that would have this harness plug.

Thanks all,
