I have a 68 with a built {pop up pistons,lumpy cam,you know the usual}350 in it. When I sit in traffic for alittle while, the carb seems to load up( sputter,cough, excessive smoke out tail pipes)It has a eldebroke 600cfm on top of a weiand intake. The temp is high when this happens(about 200 to 210)Which I'm working on. Any ideas ???

Sounds like its flooding. Float levels are probably too high. Try adjusting them.
