Finally Jul 16th, 04, 4:36 PM Little late on this post but I noticed you're from Farmington MI. You may want to check NPD. They have a warehouse in Livonia. That can be a real advantage, no waiting, no shipping charges and they're open 7 days a week. I've yet to walk in for something out of their catalogue and find they're out of stock and I believe me I've been there plenty of times.
T-Man Jul 16th, 04, 7:54 PM CARS is located in Berkley MI on 11Mile. James Hinshaw (http://www.hinshawschevelle.com) is also a great source for parts and services.
68454SS Jul 17th, 04, 12:33 AM Be careful when dealing with Paddock. I have learned the hard way that many of their products are imported and don't fit right. It really pays to go original if you can at all help it.
ELLI Jul 20th, 04, 5:02 PM Never underestimate how much stuff can still be purchased right from your local Chevrolet dealer. It does help if you can find a part number before you call them however, as most guys behind the counter don't have the time to spend hours looking up old parts for you.
Resq302 Jul 20th, 04, 8:10 PM The only problem with some of the parts from your local Chevy dealer is that you are paying through the nose for some items. I just went to try and get new motor mounts from my local Chevy dealer and they wanted $81.00 each side. They list for $111.00. This was for a 70 Elky SS 396 car. Went to my local auto parts store and they had to order them but they were $11.00. graemlins/hurray.gif I can deal with having aftermarket motor mounts. graemlins/beers.gif
