now i have another question, i notice that their are 2 types of adjustable top links available, ones with bushing at both ends and ones with a solid steel spherical bearing at one end, if i install the top link with the solid steel psherical bearing will it affect my ride, this is a mostly street car, but i am trying to cure mad wheel hop! i have already installed the boxed upper and lower control arms from edelbrock and it helped, somewhat, but i think i should have opted for the adjustable top links....oops? thanks guys!!!

I've been researching aftermarket UCA and LCA's for a little while. If your looking for adjustable top link/upper with a bushing design like Edelbrock and Currectrac (johnny joint) etc. I've seen nothing under $220.00. If you have limited rear tire clearance and or a healthy motor this is not the place for low quality parts. Just my opinion. As mentioned the arms built with rod ends are less $$$ on the average. There are so many differant brands on the market, I'm sure some are poor quality. Good luck with your search, make sure it's quality part! Maybe some here you haven't looked at;

thanks JKW, nice article! i think i like the umi adjustable upper control arms, they seem to be very well supported at the differential end, im suprised that the edelbrock ones look kinda cheap, with the cheap looking thin steel bracket- where as - the umi bracket has a boxed end that connects to the differential. but im still not sure about have the steel spherical bearing vs a rubber bushing at each end?
